About Us
We are situated in Evering Avenue, Poole and provide education to children mainly from the local area of Parkstone and Alderney.
Manorside Academy was established in April 2015 under the sponsorship of the Authentic Education Trust and currently offers a mainstream Primary education. The Academy is on one site which is led by our Director of Primary Education, Alexandra Prout who is a National Leader for Education and our Principal, Gemma Sutter. The Multi Academy Trust provides strategic leadership for the Academy with the CEO reporting both to the Governors and the Multi Academy Trustees. More information about the Trust can be found on the ‘Trust’ tab. We also frequently work in partnership with our local secondary schools who are very close by.
We are a two-form entry school for boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 11 and each class has a capacity for approximately 30 pupils. More information about joining our Academy can be found on the Admissions Policy in the ‘Policies’ tab.
We are committed to working with parents and carers and other professionals to support the needs of pupils in our care and work with a wide range of services including:
- Educational Psychology
- Special Educational Needs Support Service (SENSS)
- CAMHS (Children & Adult Mental Health Service)
- Community Paediatrician
- Speech and Language Therapy Service
- School Nursing Team
- Children’s Social Care
